About this statement
This statement sets out the steps Verion Limited takes to understand and minimise the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking, in the spirit of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We publish it voluntarily as a reflection of our values, and we review it regularly as our business grows.
Our business
Verion Limited provides software for UK delivery and logistics operators, covering onboarding, compliance, payroll and fleet management. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 16057358) and operate from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
Our supply chains
Our supply chains are predominantly low risk and consist mainly of software, cloud hosting and professional services. We expect everyone in our supply chain, and every business we partner with, to share our commitment to ethical and lawful conduct.
Our policies and expectations
- We operate a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in any form.
- We expect our suppliers and partners to comply with all applicable employment and human-rights laws.
- We support the rights of workers across the operators who use our platform, and we build tools that make lawful, transparent working practices easier, not harder.
Due diligence and risk
We assess modern slavery risk when we take on new suppliers and partners, focusing our attention where the risk is highest. Where we identify a concern, we act on it. The compliance and audit-trail features at the heart of our platform are designed to bring transparency to how workforces are onboarded, managed and paid.
Our people
We operate in the United Kingdom and comply with UK employment law, including paying at least the National Minimum and National Living Wage and carrying out right-to-work checks. We treat our team fairly and expect the same standards from those we work with.
Awareness
We make sure our team understands what modern slavery is and how to raise a concern, and we keep that awareness current as we grow.
Approval
This statement is published by Verion Limited and is reviewed at least annually. It is approved by the leadership of Verion Limited.
